Chapter 30: October 1935

Dear Journal,
I showed Boo around the house while Atticus and the sheriff talked. He was no monster, he was just like us only he acted very shy and childlike. I enjoyed talking to him and was disappointed that Jem wouldn’t be able to see him. On the porch I heard Atticus and Tate arguing about who killed Bob Ewell. Atticus said Jem and that is was a clear case of self-defense but Tate said he fell on the knife but them kept looking sideways at Boo. The sheriff said something about making mistakes before but not this time and ended the argument.
