Dear Journal,
Atticus found us. Calpurnia came in a told him were we missing and he made us go home to eat supper but he let us go back to hear the verdict. We made it back in plenty of time and I took a nap waiting for the jury to come back. Now that they are back Judge Taylor calls the court to order. The judge tallies up the jury votes and Tom Robinson is found guilty. It makes me disappointed but Jem looks crushed. As Atticus leaves the entire balcony full of Negros stand respectively for him.
